- In April 2009, i will be attempting to become the first female to cross the Indian Ocean. I am going to have to endure intense and unpredictable weather conditions and overcome mental and physical exhaustion for 50 days. All this in an eight with 7 people i have never met before. This blog is going to follow my efforts in getting to the start line and hopefully throughout the race. First challenge - sponsorship!
